BackgroundRonald Kaine is a gifted technical writer. His many experiences and talents have brought him to this point. For over ten years he has been involved in producing technical manuals and documentation. During much of that time he was a software developer and database programmer—so his technical knowledge was acquired first-hand. He has also been self-employed for over three years, so his strong business and project management skills have had time to mature and grow. When employed as a technical writer, Ronald was repeatedly recognized as playing a vital role in setting and maintaining the high publications standards established for various projects and the company as a whole. His greatest skills related to technical writing are task management, human factors, and organization. Most importantly, Ron understands how to integrate user-friendly readability into complex system configurations. He has proven abilities to consistently communicate the central theme, or primary focus of an otherwise confusing (or boring) message. Additionally, his in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications —combined with streamlined automation methods—enable him to quickly create high quality documents, presentations, reports, charts, diagrams, web pages, illustrations, or anything else that has been asked of him. Humor on the Net is Ronald's first published book, currently available at Amazon.com and in all bookstores through Ingram distribution. He hopes to publish more books in the future, as well as occasional freelance articles for various periodicals. Outside if his primary employment, Ronald is active in several other areas of interest. He is a performer of Broadway-style musical reviews and Victorian-style Christmas caroling. He is an active sportsman, enjoying several outdoor activities. He and his wife have several horses in their Appaloosa breeding program. Ronald also finds pleasure in various artistic outlets, including computer graphics, drawings, paintings, landscaping, collages, food preparation, and even some dance. Ronald is often motivated by a sense of adventure—being challenged by new tasks or trying a different approach to solve a problem. He takes great pleasure in being creative and finding innovative solutions. |
